Let’s Talk EDM: That’s Email Marketing, not Electronic Dance Music
If I asked, could you name someone that doesn’t have an email address?
I think at best it would be one person - maybe a whacky family member who thinks the internet is part of a “conspiracy”, or maybe your 98-year-old nan.
Everyone has an email.
Most of us have multiple (unless you’re Netflix and then I just have one…).
So you want to design a website…
Building a website isn’t easy. It’s one of these things that you tell yourself is simple enough to do, but once you get past picking which **~aesthetic~** design you prefer it can be daunting.
There’s a lot that goes into it, a lot of thought and a tonne of practice. There’s also quite a bit to think about, especially if you’re building an online store, and once you start it can very quickly begin to feel like pushing sh*t uphill.
Give Us Your Balls
Ask for help not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong.”
Running a business can be a juggling act, except that all the balls are made of glass and those balls are filled with more balls. Some days the list of things to do can feel endless, and for some, that feeling can be overwhelming. It can take the fun out of what you’re doing, and in the end isn’t that why you started your own business; so that you could enjoy what you do?
Watch Your Tone of Voice
Picture this: you're browsing social media, forwarding memes to your gang, when you stumble across a brand that stops your thumb in its tracks. The post captivates you with its playful and relatable captions, and maybe they make you LOL - like a real-life out-loud chuckle - or they nail that playful, casual tone that makes it feel like you’re reading a text from a friend rather than a business. You feel an instant connection, right?
